2011 Woman of the Year
Haven of Rest’s Women’s Auxiliary
Congratulations to Angela Stewart - a very special lady that certainly deserves the honor of receiving the Women's Auxilliary 2011 Woman of the Year award. Her heart is very tender, always seeking ways to help people who are hurting and share the Lord's promises with them. She is the first person one usually sees or talks with on the phone at Harvest Home, and has served as their secretary for 17 years. Angela also leads a Bible Study at Harvest Home on Tuesdays, and is our "hostess with the mostest" on Auxiliary day, when she coordinates the serving of our luncheons. We certainly appreciate her more than she knows!
Angela was born and raised in the Akron area and graduated from Kenmore High School. She lives in Cuyahoga Falls with her husband Greg, however they will soon be moving to the Barberton area. She is the proud mom of two grown children and three cherished grandchildren. Angela and Greg have also opened their hearts and home as foster parents for the developmentally challenged. They currently have a foster son living with them.
In Angela's spare time, she can be found enjoying her grandchildren, reading, hiking, visiting museums and attending car shows with her husband. They attend Cornerstone Chapel in Medina.
Thanks again, Angela, for all you do! Congratulations on your well-deserved award!
