Tallmadge High School Adopt A Family
Families Helping Families
On Monday, October 13, 2008, there was a gathering of student leaders, as well as various business and political leaders from the Tallmadge community. The purpose of the gathering was to kick off the fourth annual Adopt a Family effort of Tallmadge High School students. The funds raised are primarily to benefit families adopted through Haven of Rest Ministries for Christmas.
The students and Mike Solosky, Donor Relations Coordinator for Haven Of Rest, all thanked the community leaders for past support. The united support of businesses and the entire community is needed for the ambitious goals the students have set for themselves this year. In fact, the goal is to raise $10,000 for “Families Helping Families”.

Haven of Rest Ministries and Harvest Home, our women and children’s shelter, are so pleased with this wonderful effort. Many families will have a more joyful Christmas as a result of the efforts of the students and the entire Tallmadge community. We are truly grateful!
